THE STYLES THAT THE 19TH CENTURY ARCHITECTS EMERGED

Important works of Islamic architecture aregenerally situated in conquered lands by Muslims. ARTS and CRAFTS

(1859-1860)
The Arts & Crafts movement was emerged because of mass-production, standardization, and low-quality products. The movement gave great importance to artisanship, i.e. crafts, and manifested this in the works it created. Arts and craftsmovement, revives individual the craftsmanship.So through these products, the standard of ordinary people will rise,this movement,has brought ‘‘ Unobtrusive but good " design conception.

ART NOUVEAU

(1882-2019..)
Has emerged reaction to the Industrial Revolution in Europe.It is an art movement that decorative ornaments come into prominence and vegetative patterns and curves are oftenused.The most prominent features; stylized,flat, curved, asymmetricaland curved shapes, rhythmicmotifs, animal andplants, female figure,flying hair and feathers, flowers, vine sprouts can be counted.

CHICAGO ECOLE

(19. Century)
Chicago School, is a architectural movement emerged in the city of Chicago, continuing from the beginning of the 20th century, to the middle and gived direction to today‘s architecture. Chicago School is a rationalist architectural movement in the last quarter of the 19th century, especially in the commercial structures of Chicago and based steel construction and modern technique in architectural creation.The history of the School is the history of the first skyscrapers with skeletons.

DOLMABAHÇE PALACE
